Garden design & landscaping

From first thought to thriving garden.

Choose a focused design service or bring us the entire project. Either way, the aim is the same: a garden that feels coherent, useful and at home in its setting.

Not every garden needs the same level of intervention.

A new-build plot may need everything: levels, access, terraces, drainage, structure and planting. An established Bath garden may simply need a sharper edit, a better route through it and a planting scheme that reconnects what is already there.

We shape the service around the problem rather than forcing every project through the same package.

Design

Garden design

For gardens that need a strong plan before anything moves. We look at proportion, circulation, levels, views, materials, drainage and planting as one composition.

Ideal for complete redesigns, awkward layouts, sloping sites, extensions that have changed the relationship with the garden, or simply spaces where too many piecemeal decisions have accumulated.

Complete service

Design & build

A joined-up route for larger transformations. We carry the design intent through construction, material choices, detailing and planting rather than handing over a drawing and hoping the important details survive.

Useful when the project includes significant hard landscaping, level changes, walls, structures, lighting, new planting and several trades that need to work in the right order.

Plants

Planting design

Structure first, then texture, movement and seasonal change. Planting schemes are designed for the conditions, the architecture and the level of care you want to give them.

We can rework an existing border, create a complete scheme for a newly landscaped garden, or edit mature planting that has lost definition without stripping away everything established.

Existing gardens

Garden renovation

Not every garden needs to start again. We can retain mature planting and useful structure, then simplify, repair and reconnect what remains.

This approach often suits older properties where a complete clearance would remove exactly the maturity that makes the garden valuable in the first place.
