Areas we cover

Bath and the landscape around it.

We work with city courtyards, family gardens and larger rural plots across Bath, North East Somerset and nearby Cotswold villages.

Local projects

Close enough to understand the stone, slopes and setting.

Bath and the villages around it contain a mix of compact Georgian plots, steep hillside gardens, walled courtyards, family gardens and larger rural properties. That variety is exactly why the site matters more than a standard house style.

Typical project areas include Bathwick, Widcombe, Lansdown, Combe Down, Weston, Bathampton, Bradford-on-Avon, Freshford, Limpley Stoke, Corsham and nearby villages.

For the right project, we also work further into Somerset, Wiltshire and the southern Cotswolds.

Urban gardens

Small spaces still need a full idea.

In compact Bath gardens, every metre counts. Seating, routes, privacy and planting need to overlap intelligently rather than competing for space.

Sloping sites

Levels can create rooms, not just problems.

Terraces, retaining walls and steps are opportunities to shape how the garden is used and viewed, provided they are considered early in the design.

Country settings

The wider landscape should stay visible.

On larger plots we are careful not to domesticate every edge. Stronger structure near the house can soften gradually towards the surrounding landscape.
