Design
We resolve the layout and enough detail to understand the scope properly.
Design & build
For larger garden transformations, keeping design and delivery together makes decisions clearer and the finished garden more coherent.
Discuss your gardenThe service
This is useful when the garden involves several connected elements — new terraces, walls, steps, drainage, structures, lighting, planting and perhaps changes in level. Instead of the design becoming a set of drawings passed between separate teams, the original logic stays visible throughout the build.

A good fit when
You want one joined-up route from design to completion
The project has significant hard landscaping or level changes
Several trades or phases need coordinating
You care about the small finishing details surviving construction
What happens next
We resolve the layout and enough detail to understand the scope properly.
The build is broken into clear elements, materials and practical sequencing.
Hard landscape, structures and planting are coordinated so each stage supports the next.
The Alder & Stone approach
We avoid overfilling a garden with features. Proportion, circulation, a limited material palette and confident planting usually do more than a long wish list.
That restraint also gives the garden room to age. Stone weathers, timber softens, plants fill out and the space becomes less “new” and more like part of the property.
